Abstract The coarse sun sensor is used to measure the satellite’s attitude relative sun. If satellite can maintain earth-pointing by high-precision sensor, information be determine yaw attitude, which effective in coping with short-term failure of sensor. This paper proposes a method using information. In view main factors affecting accuracy measures improve are proposed: calibration based on historical data and measurement range selection. Simulation onboard data, expected function achieved, correcting significantly improved.
